Governing Board
Members of the Dennis C. Haley Pilot School Governing Board support and maintain the mission of the school.
Parent board members represent the perspective of the families as a whole and are committed to having the greater good and vision of the school community in mind. Parent members of the board will approve major school initiatives, discuss Instructional Leadership Team decisions as they pertain to major school policy, assist in evaluating the principal, participate in interviewing for open positions, approve the budget, approve the election-to-work agreement, and review and update by-laws annually. Parent members communicate with all families and provide this input during board meetings. The board will meet approximately 6 times throughout the year. Board members serve as elected volunteers. |
