Please join us for Curriculum Night at the Haley Pilot School on Wednesday, October 18th 2017 from 6-8PM. The event begins at 5:15PM with a popsicle social on our playground sponsored by the School Parent Council. At 6PM, families are invited to the cafeteria for a brief welcome and overview of the night before heading to classrooms. On Friday, October 13th, your student will bring home a schedule of classes to attend for the evening. This will allow families to visit multiple classroom presentations including specialist teachers. As a reminder, curriculum night is a chance to hear about what your student will be learning for the year and classroom expectations. Individual fall conferences with families are scheduled at a later date.
Looking forward to seeing you all on the 18th!
When? Thursday, October 5, 4:30-6:30 pm
What? There will be games, music and a potluck dinner!
What to Bring:
A dish to share, outdoor games to play. Drinks will be provided.
How you can help:
Can you help with set up? Or clean up after the event?
We also need volunteers to help lead outdoor games.

We are incredibly excited to begin a new partnership with Urban Improv for our students in Grades 4-8.
Over the course of the year, students will travel to participate in a series of workshops.
"Urban Improv is an interactive program for young people that uses improvisational theater workshops to teach violence prevention, conflict resolution, and decision-making. The program's innovative curriculum helps students deal creatively with major issues in their lives. It is truly a rehearsal for life."
Please be sure to check out their website for more information http://urbanimprov.org/workshops/ and complete the permission slip sent home with your students.
